Established in 1998, Mandarin Square began business in the historic Zhihua Si, a Ming Dynasty-era temple in Beijing. Our vision was the desire to give time-honoured Chinese silks renewed life.

Today, Mandarin Square represents a fusion of east and west, old and new. Drawing on classic chinois style, our inspiration still emanates from the craftsmen of ancient China. 

Bold, contemporary colours are overlaid with striking textile designs, delivering Mandarin Square’s modern slant on traditional motifs. Our latest collection combines quirky originality with surprising handcrafted detail.

All products are designed in Australia and crafted in China
